Windows 7 — The Fastest Selling OS

At the end of the one year after the launch of Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft said that the sale of Windows 7 reached to 240 Million. Microsoft claimed that Windows 7 became the fastest selling Operating System in history.
When Microsoft claimed the Windows 7 as a fastest selling Operating System, their is no reason to falsify this claim because, according to the Net Applications, Windows 7 is running over 93% of new consumer PCs and has 17% Global OS market share. And also all the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) partners, that are over 18,000 in count), are selling their PCs and Laptops withe Windows 7.
While at the start of the year Windows XP had almost 90% PCs Microsoft users were using XP, 9% using Vista and 1% using Windows 7. Now the situation is changed, although Windows XP is still running on some PCs but Windows 7 is near and capable to take over 100% PCs of Microsoft users.
